Cirque du Soleil: Corteo
Premieres November 8.  Orange County Fair and Exposition Center.  88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa.  After a 4 year absence, Cirque du Soleil finally returns to SoCal.  Corteo, “cortege” in Italian, is a joyous procession, a festive parade imagined by a clown.  The show brings together the passion of the actor with the grace and power of the acrobat to plunge the audience into a theatrical world of fun, comedy and spontaneity situated in a mysterious space between heaven and earth.

Travis and MaxÏmo Park
November 24. 7:30pm.  House of Blues.  1530 S. Disneyland Drive, Anaheim.  Feel like spending a night rocking to some of the hottest pop straight outta the UK?  Don’t miss Travis, hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, on their one-stop show in OC.  Plus very special guests MaxÏmo Park.  This quintet from north-east England are unusually intriguing, and their songs so tightly coiled that when they let them loose, especially onstage, they often look close to imploding.

Winter Fantasy at the Sawdust Art Festival
Weekends November 17 – December 9.  10am – 6pm.  Sawdust Art Festival.  935 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach.  The 17th Annual Winter Fantasy at the Sawdust Art Festival features 170 artists who exhibit and sell their original art and unique, hand-crafted items in an enchanting
